CRANBERRY RELISH MOLD |
Submitted by Fara 1 9oz can crushed pineapple
packed in its own juice Drain pineapple. Add water to make 1/2 cup. Dissolve gelatin, sugar in 1 cup boiling water. Add syrup, lemon juice. Chill until partially set. Add fruits, celery, nuts. Chill in 5-cup mold until set (overnight). My serving size is 1/4 cup. Make and enjoy.---The reason I don't use the orange peel, is that I find it bitter and the zest is just the nice flavor of the orange. I also make a lime jello with cabbage, carrotts and pineapple, with a mayonaise pineapple sauce. Fara ------ My families favorate salad/relish for Thanksgiving. I make this every year. |
